- Greetings to all,
- I recently purchased an external sportster 28.8 that has a sticker on the
- box "Now with 36.6 kps data" Does this mean the modem is capable of doing
- 36.6kps or does it need the upgrade chip?
-
- Also, i downloaded the new .inf file from USR and it caused a nightmare
- for me in win95 as when win95 tries to build a database for my driver
- when detecting the modem, a couple of illegal operation dialog boxes keep
- popping up and hanging my win95.
-
- Do i need that .inf file or do i need something else to have win95 detect
- it? If i just keep the selection as sportser 28.8 would i get the 36.6kps
- performance?
-
- Thanks in advance
